Community Mindfulness Meditation Practice

Tuesdays 5:15-6:30 (prior to Jazz Jam)

Open to all: Free; donations gratefully accepted. Drop in Tuesdays (please check calendar in case of rare cancellations). Learn the basics of mindfulness meditation: what mindfulness is, how to practice it, how to incorporate it into your life to relieve stress and create more well-being.

OWL (Older, Wiser, Local) is an open-door programming series welcoming all older adults, especially those from the 53212 zip code. Produced by the Riverwest Artists Association, OWL offers arts and craft workshops as well as informative lectures and demonstrations on a wide variety of topics. Nearly all workshops and activities are free of charge, although occasionally participants may be asked to bring materials.


Art Walk

53212: Studio + Gallery Walk

Saturday October 6th, 1 – 8 PM

Nearly 40 years ago, a group of artists started an event featuring the many artists and art galleries in Riverwest. ArtWalk has helped define Riverwest as a creative community ever since.

This year, the event has been expanded to the entire 53212 area as 53212: Studio + Gallery Walk
